PSE offers two plans from Kaiser Permanente: a Core HMO plan and an Access PPO plan. To enroll, go to PSE’s Benefits Service Center or call 1-844-839-3773. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Getting care at Kaiser Permanente

Kaiser Permanente offers many ways to get care quickly, so you can choose the option that works best for you:

• 24/7 advice line
• Access to any Kaiser Permanente facility at the in-network level of coverage, including in CA, CO, DC, GA, HI, MD, OR, and VA

Kaiser Permanente Core HMO

This plan is an excellent choice for employees who receive their care from Kaiser Permanente providers and don’t need the expanded network of the Access PPO plan.

• Access to more than 350 primary care providers and nearly 600 specialists at Kaiser Permanente Washington medical centers
• Access to a broader network of more than 9,000 additional contracted providers in Washington state, including over 1,000 primary care providers and 49 hospitals
• You pay 10% coinsurance for most services
• Coverage for emergency and medically urgent care anywhere in the world
• Low $200 deductible per person / $600 per family

Kaiser Permanente Access PPO

This plan offers one of the largest — if not the largest — provider network in the state. More than 95 percent of licensed providers in Washington are paid at the in-network level with Access PPO.

• You pay just 10 percent coinsurance at Kaiser Permanente medical centers
• Access to a broader network of more than 26,000 contracted physicians, hospitals, and individual practitioners statewide — you pay 20 percent coinsurance
• National network of providers at in-network rates
• Low $350 deductible per person / $1050 per family for in-network care

In addition to Washington Permanente Medical Group, in-network providers include UW Medicine, Swedish Physicians, Franciscan Medical Clinics, and more.
