Endarterectomy for Unknown Stenosis With No SymptomsThinking about your family history or other information, you may wonder if you should have a carotid endarterectomy. Have you had symptoms (such as a TIA or mild stroke)? Do you know the percentage of stenosis (narrowing) in your carotid arteries? If not, you are not ready to make a decision.
